Kumar Krishnendra Samarth

Born into a music family, Krishnendra Samarth started his training in Tabla from his father Sri M S Kiran at the tender age of 5 years. He was later trained in Hindustani Vocal music under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Bharathi Prathap of Agra Gharana and continues to be under her guidance.

Krishnendra has won the ‘Classical Voice of Bangalore and Karnataka’ in 2016 and has secured 2nd prize in the ‘Classical Voice of India’ contest. He has also secured 1st place in ‘Swarasri’ competition conducted by Sanjog Charitable Trust, Bangalore in 2018.

Nayan Yavagal

Nayan Yavagal comes from a family of musicians. His illustrious father Pt. Ravindra Yavagal, a top graded Tabla artiste of All India Radio, is a well known artiste in the music field. Nayan’s maternal grandfather Late Sri Kalidas Bankar was running a music school called ‘Saraswathi Sangeetha Vidhyalaya’ in Hubli.

Nayan showed keen interest towards music at a tender age of 3 by playing Tabla, Bansuri, Harmonium and singing. He started learning Hindustani Classical Vocal music systematically under noted Hindustani vocalist Pt. Raghupathi Hegde for about 10 years. He is currently undertaking advanced training from Pt. Parameshvara Hegde, who is well known senior vocalist of India.

Nayan is a graduate in commerce from Sindhi College and is currently pursuing Masters in Hindustani Vocal at Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music University.

Nayan has participated in many children programs of All India Radio, many interschool competitions and won prizes and appreciation. He has been awarded and encouraged with the CCRT scholarship by Govt. of India. He is also a recipient of “RangaPrapancha national award” by RangaPrapancha, a monthly magzine and “Vocalist of the year” by Guru Kumara Trust. He has performed in the prestigious organisations such as “SawaiGandharva festival” Kundagol, “Guru Kumara Trust” Bangalore, “RaagaSangama” Bangalore etc.

He has completed his B. Com in Sindhi College, Hebbal, Kempapura, Bengaluru. Now he is pursuing MA in Hindustani vocal in Karnataka state Dr. Gangubai Hangal music university.

Ranjan Kumar Beura

Sri Ranjan Kumar Beura hails from the city of Temples, Bhubaneswar (Odisha). He was introduced to the realm of music at the tender age of five, by his musically inclined parents and who have been his source of inspiration. His journey towards musical perfection has been ably guided by his mentors Pandit Sunil SIngh Mahant and Smt. K. Bhubaneswarai Mishra.

He has done his graduation and post graduation in hindustani classical violin from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar (Odisha). The principal flavour of his musical expressions is from the Kirana Gharana style of Hindustani Classical Music, which houses many eminent musicians.

His flair for innovation, while maintaining the sanctity of the tradition, has been widely acclaimed by the audience, both in India and the world. He is a new age violinist, equally adept in various style such as Carnatic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Irish, Arabic, etc. This diverse proficiency, combined with mystical ability to bridge the mood of the audience with his extempore renditions has made him a favourite amongst the younger cosmopolitan audience. He has also shared the stage with several renowned artistes.

Amith Nadig

Amith comes from a family of musicians and has been widely acclaimed as a child prodigy of Karnataka. He is the son and student of flautist Vidwan B K Anantharam. He underwent training under Padma Bhushana Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. R K Srikantan to learn the finer aspects of the ‘Gayaki’ style of flute playing for almost 2 decades and is also undergoing training under Dr. R N Thyagarajan.

Apart from his extensive touring and performances, Amith is also a Tech lead at SM Netserv Technologies.

He has been performing on stage for the past 21 years and has performed on all prestigious festivals all over India and abroad.

Amith has toured USA, Germany, Italy, France, Morocco, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi and other countries on multiple occasions on concert tours and regularly performs with top musicians from India and abroad. He effortlessly adapts his playing to perform with musicians from different genres of music including Karnatic, Hindustani, Jazz, Fusion etc. which makes him a very sought after flautist in India today.

Amith is one of the youngest “A” graded artistes of ALL INDIA RADIO and has been featured on the most prestigious National Programme of Music at a very young age of 21 and also the South Zone hook-up concert from Doordarshan. A recipient of Ananya Yuva Puraskara for the year 2016, Amith has had the honor of being the only Indian to have been invited to perform at the Dusseldorf Church Organ Festival and JazzArt Festival in 2016.

M S Kiran

Sri M S Kiran is one of the leading accompanists on the Tabla in the classical concert circuit of Karnataka and India. His initialization into Tabla was through Sri Hanumant Upadhyaya of Hubli. He later took lessons from Pandit Shashikant Kulkarni of Hubli for many years. Today he is one of the leading disciples of Pandit Ravindra Yavagal, the internationally acclaimed Tabla artiste of Karnataka. Sri M S Kiran’s accompaniment is marked by a keen observation of the styling suitable for the main artiste.

The traditional value of the great art of Saath Sangat and Saadhana is clearly visible in the accompaniment as he has accompanied Dr R B Sontakke, Pt Parameshwara Hegde, Pt Rajashekhara Mansur, Pt Narasimhulu Vadivati, Pt Naganath Vodeyar, Pt M P Hegde, Pt Panchakshari Matigatti, Pt Nagaraj Rao Havaldar, Pt N V Gopinath, Pt Eshwar Morgeri, Vidushi Smt Lalit J Rao, Pt Srinivas Joshi, Pt Krishnamurthy, Pt Govind Rotti and Smt Sarala Desai

Madhusoodan Bhat

Madhusoodan Bhat was initiated into music by Pt. M P Hegde Padigere with training on Vocal and Harmonium. Madhusoodhan is currently being trained and guided on Harmonium-Solo by A-Graded harmonium artiste Pt. Dr. Ravindra Katoti. He has performed in many prestigious music festivals in India and also on TV shows.

He has accompanied famous vocalists such as Pt. M Venkatesh Kumar, Pt. Ganapathi Bhat Hasanagi, Pt. Vinayak Torvi, Pt. Parameshwar Hegde, Pt. Mukul Shivaputra, Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi, Pt. Ramesh Narayan, Vidhushi P U Sarkel(Rajkot), Vidhushi Adithi Upadhyay, Vidhushi Lalit J Rao, Pt. Ravindra Yavagal and Sri Yashavanth Vaishnav for Lehera.

Kiran Yavagal

Kiran Yavagal, a B-High grade artiste of All India Radio & Doordarshan, started showing interest towards Tabla at the tender age of four. He comes from a family of musicians. His father, Pt. Ravindra Yavagal is a noted tabla artiste. His maternal grandfather, late Sri Kalidas Bankar was a noted music teacher, who was running a music school called “Saraswati Sangeet Vidyalaya” at Hubli. Apart from learning from his father, he has been under the guidance of Sri Udayraj Karpur & Sri M Nagesh and more recently from Pt. Sheshagiri Hangal. Presently he is training under Pt. Yogesh Samsi.

Kiran has accompanied many top artistes like Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Pt. Ajay Pogankar, Pt. Ullas Bapat, Vidwan Yella Venkateshwara Rao, Pt. Ronu Majumdar, Pt. Nayan Ghosh, Pt. Vinayak Torvi to mention a few.

Anoor Vinod Shyam

Anoor Vinod Shyam was born into a family of musicians. He started learning at the age of 10, under Vidwan Rudrapatnam Sathyakumar and presently is under the guidance of his father Vidwan Ganakala Shree Anoor Ananthkrishna Sharma, who is a multi-talented percussionist. He won second prize for Mridangam in All India Radio National level competition 2012 and is also a B-High graded artist of All India Radio.

Vinod Shyam has performed with stalwarts like Sarvasri S Shankar, Mysore H K Narsimhamurthy, M S Sheela, TS Sathyavathy, Nagmani Srinath, Vidwan Sriram Parashuram, Pt. Praveen Godkhindi, Ustad Shujath Khan, Sarod-Duo Amaan Ali Bangash & Ayaan Ali Bangash to name a few. He also regularly performs with groups like Layalahari, Layalavanya with other percussion instruments like Pakhawaj, Khanjira, Tabla, Dholak and rhythm pads. He is an active member of a young & vibrant percussion team Layalavanya and Nada Kalarava. Their new venture Patra Nada Vaibhava talks about playing rhythm without any instruments.
